Logistics took over a 512,000 square foot warehousing facility
in 1991 for a major automotive parts supplier. Five business units
utilize CWC’s experience and expertise to receive, store,
package and ship aftermarket automotive products nationwide to
automotive dealers, distributors, mass merchants and retailers
and a host of specialty retail operations.
Delayed
specialized packaging is a critical component of supply chain
activities and constitutes nearly 40% of our daily activity. Products
are packaged and labeled to the specifications of multiple customers,
shipped J.I.T. to wholesale and retail customer’s DC’s
and stores.
Daily,
weekly and monthly coordination, reporting and auditing functions are completed
with the current client focusing on external and internal KPI’s
and standard operational processes. The combined efforts of this
partnership led to the client earning ISO 9000 Certification in
2003 with recertification each year through 2005.
